When treating patients, I aim to work in the pain-free threshold and help the body relax. Typically, I don’t choose forceful or manipulative techniques, rather working with the body. A lot of my patients comment that they feel very relaxed after my treatment.

I always try to minimise any post-treatment side effects by checking the balance of the whole body at the end of the treatment. However, in some cases patients may experience muscle discomfort over the next few days a bit like how you feel after the first day back in the gym when you have not trained for a while. Although I try to avoid patients experiencing this, it’s an indication that your muscles are adapting to a new way of working. It should only last a day or two and then resolve. If you have any concerns after I have treated you please feel free to contact me so we can discuss what you are experiancing.
